I hope everyone made it home safely yesterday and caught up on much needed sleep.  Wow … what a day!  I am without words to describe what a privilege it was to work with each of you.  And, as many of you already know, it is a rare occasion for me to be without words!!

The first annual Tour de Doughnut was a huge success beyond all of our expectations.  It is because of you that the ride went smoothly, the riders arrived back at the finish happy and healthy, and we are able to help grant more wishes.  (And big thanks go out to Mother Nature as well for the incredible weather.)  Thank you for all your hard work and dedication!

All of you, in your own special way, have helped to raise the awareness of Sun & Ski Sports, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and, most importantly, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  I am grateful for all that you have done and continue to do.

I am eager to hear stories from the ride and encourage each of you to share your favorite moments from Sunday.  Also, if you have any comments/suggestions on improvements to be made for next year, please send those my way as well.  I would like to include those stories and suggestions in our upcoming Tour de Doughnut recap meeting.

While we have not finalized our results, our apparent winner finished with a time of 2 hours 15 minutes.  He ate 30 doughnuts to finish 15 minutes before he started!

Thank you again,

Taylor
